What is the Program?

The Maymester in Europe program is presented jointly by the University of West Georgia's Department of Political Science and the Department of Economics with the support of the University System of Georgia's EU Certificate Program.

Students earn six credit hours in Political Science and/or Economics while touring parts of Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and England.

The program offers a unique opportunity for students to travel through six major city centers in five countries while earning upper division course credit.

Brussels
Paris
London

Who leads the Tour?

The Tour is led by Dr. Heather A. D. Mbaye of the Department of Political Science.  She has lived in both Brussels and London and provides local as well as classroom knowledge.
